In the midst of the TAKS frenzy, the read180 students found some time to host a spring special edition of our podcast with special guests from Ms. Martinez’s fun science lab, reading to us about a few characters in the animal kingdom. It’s just under 10 minutes, and it’s good, we promise. We hope you’ll listen in and enjoy!

Feel free to leave your comment and let us know what you think about the giraffe, rhino or mosquito! Press PLAY below to start the show.

This December month was short and hectic with tests, activities and programs that our fifth grade students were busy with. Unfortunately, this kept us from completing our Christmas/December podcast.
Please stay tuned, however, for our Winter/January podcast coming up after our long break.
The students of the Read180 lab at Alvarez Elementary would like to wish all of you a very merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
